The new modular 57xT display family can be used for simple display or, with modular expansions, it can take in charge a wide range of control tasks. The modular expansions include 115-203VAC power supply, 4 PNP control outputs, RS232 interface, analog output and/or 2 potential-free relay outputs. This allows adapting the device specifically to your application. Operation is made very simple thanks to the resistive touch display; the graphic display describes the functions of the parameters in an optimal way.

The 570T SSI position display shows SSI formats from 8 to 32 bits. It can be used as a display, a control device, an SSI-analog converter and an SSI–RS232/RS485 interface converter for all Kübler SSI encoders. The position display can moreover be operated as a master or as a slave. With its 1 MHz clock frequency, it is suitable even for very fast transmissions. It can therefore be used also with Kübler's Sendix multiturn encoders with a singleturn resolution exceeding 13 bits.

The 571T multifunction display is programmable for the functions Position display / Pulse counter, Tachometer / Frequency display, Short-time meter / Timer, Running time meter based on the rotary speed (reciprocal frequency) or as a speed display based on the running time. The max. counting frequency is 240 kHz and the shortest measurable time is 1 millisecond, which allows achieving a wide range of measuring and control tasks.

Further information on our products can be found on our website www.kuebler.com. The 573T process displays have two analog inputs and can be used both in single-channel and in two-channel operation. All arithmetic operations are available for the two-channel operation in order to display the sum, the difference, the ratio or the product. Inputs and outputs are scaleable separately. The 573T can be used as a simple process converter, as a process controller (twopoint controller), or for complex measuring tasks in which two values must be monitored or calculated with respect to each other, or further processed in a higher-level control. Examples of applications are the monitoring of mixing ratios and display of flow speed, material stretching and synchronous run monitoring with display of the individual speeds, as well as filling level monitoring, level regulation and display of the in and out flow.

All devices have 8-digit displays with sign using the 7-segment code, and can be scaled to the desired measurement quantity in order to display and process degrees, lengths or positions in the required unit. Various units can be programmed in the display. Also a linearization based on 24 points can be programmed.
  • with interface to transmit the position via RS232/or 485 as digital value to higher-level controls.
  • with 2 relay outputs and interface for limit value monitoring and transmission of the measured value to the controls.
The easy cleaning of the display is a further advantage and its IP65 front side protection level allows using it for the food industry.

The new 574 Dual Frequency Display offers two individually scalable encoder inputs, in each case A, /A, B, /B for count frequencies up to 1 MHz per channel (also for single channel use). In addition, 4 freely programmable, fast solid-state out-puts, each with 350 mA output current, are provided. The many different output modes offer further flexibility, which is reflected, for example, in the simple programming using four keys and in the programmable dual functions. For this there are function codes that are dependent on the operating mode selected. In total, 9 fixed, different frequency functions, for example, single, dual, difference and total value meas-urement of both inputs, product and ratio measurement, per-centage measurement, in-process time calculated from fre-quency (reciprocal speed), all underline the unit's versatility. Furthermore, the device also offers up to 3 display values: Display Frequency 1, Display Frequency 2 as well as the calculated value from 1 and 2.

The AC and DC supply voltages are integrated in one device and the 574 Dual Frequency Display can be used either as a frequency display or as a tachometer with limit values. The display itself boasts a bright, 6-digit LED display (15 mm), which guarantees excellent readability. The monitoring func-tions, where 2 values can be monitored or calculated with respect to each other, the 4 fast, programmable inputs with various functions such as start delay, key lockout, display memory, reference input or switching between displays also feature in the unit's repertoire. The device's many features are rounded off by the RS232 in-terface, fitted as standard, that can be used for parameter setting, for reading out the values or for modifications during operation, and by the scalable analogue output 0/4 ... 20 mA, +/-10 V or 0 ... 10 V.

With the large Codix 560 Kübler is rounding off a totally new generation of preset counters. Thanks to a wide variety of functions and counting modes all typical areas of application for a preset counter - and even simple control tasks - are now fully covered. The latest option to be available in this product range is the RS 232/485 interface, which in turn means that the counters are now able to support MODBUS (RTU) or the CR/LF protocol.

The Codix 560 preset counters feature a wide range of fundamental benefits, including large, very bright LED displays. This means that the counters are easily legible - even in poor lighting situations or when viewed from a great distance. As with all Kübler Codix units, great store has been placed on simple userfriendly operation and programming structure. The device thus comes with numerous scrolling help texts, which - thanks to the 14-segment display - are very clearly legible. The intuitive cursor keypad makes programming even easier. The preset counter can be used for pulses, time, frequency and also for position; it can also function as an overall total counter or as a batch counter.

Its important technical benefits include the provision of 2 relays, as well as a display that is scalable by a multiplication or division factor. Preset values can be entered directly via the large front keys or via the Teach-In input. Mounting the device in locations where space is tight is no problem thanks to the minimal installation depth. The new preset counters are also ideal for installation in mosaic systems.

The Codix 560 supports MODBUS RTU for reading out counter data to a higher-level system - for production data acquisition or for logging measured values. Thus it can monitor and evaluate a wide variety of data, depending on how it is programmed, whether as a pulse counter, frequency or time meter or as a positioning controller. These data may include, for example, production count or speed, machine or turbine speed as well as production, run, operating and throughput times. Moreover a number of counters - with various measuring tasks - may be networked together in a bus, in order to monitor complete operating or process tasks. In addition the most important parameters can be specified or modified via the MODBUS; for example the various lengths and batch quantities when cutting to length. It is therefore possible to carry out decentrally very comprehensive control tasks both quickly and reliably. The CR/LF protocol concerns a simple printer protocol, where the measured value is sent to a large display or to a printer. It is thus possible to visualise all the data, which have just been counted - starting from production quantity/ speed and production time, through machine run time, test cycles and cutting speed and on to flow rates and production volumes.

In addition the data can be sent directly to a printer. This is a very useful option, especially for label printing with small cut-to-length machines or when logging piece quantities for an order.

The new 570 SSI Position Indicator now displays SSI formats from 8 up to 32 bits (formerly only up to 25 bits). It can be used with all Kübler SSI encoders as a display, control device, SSI analogue converter and SSI-RS232/RS485 interface converter. In addition the display can be scaled to the required measured variable, in order to display and evaluate degrees, length or position in the desired unit of measurement. Display scaling is carried out by means of the multiplication and division factor and the Offset is programmed by using an addend. The position display can also be used as a Master or Slave. With a max. clock frequency of 1MHz it is also ideal for very fast transmissions. It can therefore also be used with the Sendix Multiturn encoders from Kübler that have a singleturn resolution of the order of 13 bits.

And there is a whole list of new functions included in its even longer list of specifications. Amongst these is display linearization with up to 16 control points and a Teach-In function. This is used when the display should not follow the input position value in a linear manner, for example with the control for a water lock, where the lock opening is displayed, measured proportionally to the swing angle.

One special function is the monitoring of the encoder. This recognises, for example, whether the encoder is still transmitting data and as a result is able to control the outputs. As soon as an error indication is recognised the outputs can be set to inactive or the analogue output set to 0. A very important safety aspect. The option to cascade a number of displays, in order to display the multiturn and singleturn values separately, is another bonus when it comes to visualising the data. The already existing versions (2 optocoupler outputs; analogue output; interface outputs) are joined by a new version with 2 relay outputs. The relay outputs are used as limit values or presets and one output can also be programmed as a tracking preset.

Moreover this new version with relays also has an RS232/RS485 interface. This means that we have 4 different models in our range

  • with 2 optocoupler outputs, to monitor limit values
  • with analogue output, in order to quickly transmit the position as an analogue signal to a higher-level controller
  • with interface, in order to transmit the position via RS232 or 485 as a digital value to higher-level controllers
  • with 2 relay outputs and interface for limit value monitoring and transmission of the measured value to the controllers
Easy start-up is another plus point. As well as screw terminals, the 570 Position Display offers both AC and DC supply voltage in one device. And one more thing: the membrane keypad with its IP65 protection on the front can also be used in the food industry.

Their help is indispensable, wherever service intervals have to be effectively monitored and planned. Hour meters. These devices can make a significant contribution to efficient cost-calculations, as they guarantee that maintenance will be carried out at exactly the right time - but only when a machine has been running long enough that a service interval really is due or when a tool actually needs to be changed. So they literally have "everything under control", and even if that sounds a bit trite, it really can have a major effect on your budget.

Here then the new Kübler HR 47 shows itself from its informative side: a run indicator reliably displays the status of the meter, whilst the count value can always be easily read at a glance thanks to its large figures. The Kübler HR 47 is happy to combine the benefits of being economical and powerful: as an electromechanical meter the Kübler HR 47 is virtually impossible to manipulate and is exceptionally reliable and robust. In consequence it offers a long service life, especially with regard to the 7-digit display with its wide counting range. The HR 47 is ideal for use in applications outdoors and in machines with high loads, thanks to its high IP 65 level of protection and its broad operating temperature range, not forgetting its excellent resistance to shock and vibration. So it really is at home in tough industrial environments such as in construction machinery or industrial trucks. The standard format housing is simple to install thanks to its flexible mounting clips and can be used in virtually any application thanks to the wide choice of power supply options on offer - these cover 10-80 Volt DC or 100-130 Volt AC at 60 Hz up to 187-264 Volt AC at 50 Hz.

It's got everything that counts - Kübler's new Preset Counter, Codix 907 / 908, strikes a balance between high quality and a very competitive price.

The new generation of Kübler singleturn encoders, Sendix The Kübler HW66 combination meters now offer outstanding measuring security backed up by excellent quality - for energy and likewise for time. Energy consumption and the number of hours run are both reliably measured in one device via the unique dual display for kWh and time, meaning they can then be read off in parallel at any time.

These new meters have been developed in accordance with the relevant European Measuring Instruments Directive, known as the MID. As a result they meet the legal requirements for the accuracy of the instruments and thus carry, so to speak, the seal of approval for official energy billing. They also meet all the requirements of the German Weights & Measures Act.

A plus point for safety: the HW 66 combination meters reliably display all measured values even if no voltage is present and therefore protect against any attempt to tamper with them. Moreover, the measurement results are secure and, in accordance with PTB standards, traceable and verifiable, since there is no way to reset the meters.

The HW66 MID combination meters were specifically designed for machinery and equipment with a high energy consumption and in particular for those applications that demand an exact, traceable calculation of costs and billing. Because plant and equipment do not always run at full speed and as counting the number of hours run does not automatically reflect the actual costs incurred, the additional metering of the energy consumption, which the HW66 renders possible, plugs a crucial information gap. The precise measurement and secure read-out of time and energy consumption - combined in one device - is thus the optimal solution for transparent, equitable billing.

The family grows. The new Kübler pulse and time counters Codix 14x supplement the Codix family and now also operate with a line voltage supply.

Kübler introduces, with the new pulse and time counters Codix 140 and Codix 141, the latest products of the Codix counters family. Just as the proven, battery-powered Codix 130 and 131, these new devices are very high performance products which feature many advantages: for example, the clear 8-digit display, with its 8mm high figures, ensures quick information at a glance. In addition, total numbers of impulses or times are displayed directly, making application sequences particularly transparent.

Thanks to its very compact size, the new Codix all-round talent, housed in its 48 x 24 x 48 millimetres DIN housing, can be accommodated in a wide range of applications with little space that require an outstanding reliability. Furthermore, the high IP65 protection is as well as its wide temperature range of -20° to +65° C another guarantee for maximum safety.

The multifunctional Reset key, which can be disabled, if necessary, by means of a separate input is another important extra feature.

The display and time counters Codix 14x are actuated by means of dry contacts or voltage pulses. Their range of application reaches from totalisation and parts counting up to time recording, and many other uses. In addition, the counters have a very high counting frequency of up to 12 kHz.

Another typical advantage of the Kübler Codix family is the reliable protection against data loss: all values of the 14x products range are saved in the EEPROM. In addition, thanks to screw terminals with a 5 mm pitch, connection is both easy and flexible. The quick PNP or the slow NPN actuation via separate inputs completes this convincing description.

The new universal preset counters Codix 92x are now offered by Kübler with up to a maximum of 6 presets and 4 different displays.
The counters are now available as standard with either 4 relay outputs or 6 optocoupler outputs.  These allow a variety of control tasks to be undertaken, as these presets can be used in the pulse counter and timer modes, as well as in the frequency meter mode. It is thus possible, for example, to create small sequential control systems, simple cam controllers or frequency monitors with various alarm stages. The presets can be individually programmed either as a maintained output for range presets or as a momentary output for coincidence presets.
The devices come equipped with a large 2-line 6-digit display, with sign and leading zero suppression, which allows for easier readability of the data. The display range is from -999 999 up to + 999 999.   The new display technology is based on a cost-effective LCD-technology with alternatively positive or negative red or green backlighting, which - like with LED displays - guarantees optimal readability even in difficult lighting conditions. The differentiation between each displayed value is improved by the possibility to display the upper line in red and to program the lower line in either red or green.
A compact key-pad enables convenient direct entry of the presets by digit. Easy-to-understand annunciators provide information about the preset and the status of the outputs.

The CODIX 92X are multitalented products that can handle the display, measurement and control of pulses (counter), frequencies (tacho) and time (timer), using numerous count functions and modes.
They thus offer a simple, cost-effective solution for many local standard control functions. When it comes to simple tasks, the many logic functions and preconfigured control functions offered by the CODIX 92X make them a real alternative to a PLC.

They can also be used as batch counters for controlling lot sizes, as a function of individual quantities, or as totalising counters for process control, as a function of the total count. In an additional role, they offer secure monitoring of time, frequency, position and pulses.

The CODIX 92X rangecomes equipped to meet the requirements of the user but can also be customised to his individual needs. Up to 10 inputs, up to 6 optocoupler outputs and up to 4 relay outputs are possible. In addition, versions with an RS 232/485 interface can be supplied.
It is not necessary to have in-depth programming knowledge when installing or using these devices, eliminating the need for costly service engineers. With all count functions there is direct access to the programming mode. On top of everything, the units are really easy to operate thanks to the simple, easy-to-understand programming structure and the alpha-numeric display of the parameters.  The various functions can be programmed either absolute or as tracking presets via the direct preset entry.
The counters boast a Teach-In function for error-free preset entry, a frequency display with fast display refresh and high accuracy (High Accuracy System), as well as many other count modes and functions.
The devices come factory-equipped with three predefined settings for the most common applications. If a parameter is modified, then the devices adopt the new function almost immediately: the programming is concluded in no time by means of the reset key. The functions Display Hold, Set and Teach-In can be called up via the new MPI input (Multiple Purpose Input).

Plug-in screw connectors with cage clamp terminals offer convenient time-saving installation. The front bezel is IP 65 sealed as standard, saving on additional time and effort for protecting the device during installation. And, of course, there will always be room for the Codix92X devices, thanks to their minimal installation depth.

Thanks to the new service counters and service timers from Kübler you can now keep a very close eye on the maintenance intervals and servicing  times for your plant and machinery.
The compact CODIX 142 counter series and 143 timer series come equipped with the optimum functionality for monitoring service and maintenance cycles.

The service intervals are permanently pre-programmed at the factory in line with the customer's wishes, so no further programming needs to be done by the user. The product display shows the text 'Service' when, for example, 5000 pulses or hours has been reached; a pre-signal text 'Preservice' can also for example be displayed at 4900. In addition the solid-state output can provide a signal when the service is due.

The counter can be reset by means of the reset key or by using an electrical input. In order to prevent an undesired reset, the reset key can be deactivated by means of an electrical input.  For the service counters, the values remain stored - the service values are incremented by the stored preset value when resetting. If, for example, the service value has been programmed for  5000 pulses and the reset occurs when the count value equals 5100 pulses, then the new service value will be 10100 (count value 5100 + service interval 5000). Should the need arise, the device can also be reset to its initial delivery condition. The Service and Preservice values can be requested and displayed at any time.
The device can be powered with a DC supply between 10 and 30 V and boasts a 7 digit 8mm high LCD display. The values are stored in an EEPROM. Separate inputs are provided for fast PNP pulses or damped NPN pulses. Thanks to its extremely compact dimensions (48mm x 24mm x 48mm), there will be no problems finding a place to install the unit.

Many new functions, increased performance, compact construction and even more user-friendly  - these are the hallmarks of the new enhanced CODIX 52x series of displays from Kübler.
Codix 52C and 52T are dual counters with 2 separate pulse counters in one housing. These make possible a wide variety of applications such as product data acquisition, e.g. batch counting with total count,  or service and maintenance counting with service intervals and total piece count or volume.
The Codix 52C models come with separate single-channel pulse inputs and separate scaling of the displayed values; the Codix 52T models have a common single-channel count input with separate scaling for both counters.  Both count readings can be displayed separately via the front keys - with the Codix 52C the sum total, difference, quotient or percentage ratio of the two values can also be displayed.

The CODIX displays with their modern design and 24 x 48 mm format have already proved themselves very popular with customers, thanks to the many benefits they offer. These include, for example, the simple-to-use menu-driven programming. High-quality connection technology saves on valuable installation time. A minimal installation depth allows the units to be installed even where space is tight. The exceptionally bright LED display is readable from a long distance away. Large keys permit the devices to be programmed easily, even when wearing gloves.

The CODIX displays offer even more advantages.
Firstly, they are now even faster. On average they feature a 2.5 times faster count speed, with a maximum of 60kHz, and are ready for use just 16 m/s after being switched on.
Secondly, they have even more functions - so they offer a much wider choice of settings. Division factors are integrated along with multiplication factors, thus making it possible to scale the display to exactly the required format. These open up more application options and offer the user increased flexibility. Versions with a 5V input trigger level are also available as standard.

Thirdly, they are even more user-friendly - even though they boast more programming options.

These features all go to ensure that the new versions from the CODIX series are not only well prepared to meet the ever-increasing demands of the automation industry but are also perfectly suited to the most diverse applications.
