Our company founder and father would celebrate his 100th birthday today

A review by Gebhard and Lothar Kübler

For our managing partners Gebhard and Lothar Kübler, the focus is usually on the future, but today it is time to look back. Their father, Fritz Kübler (†2003), who set the first milestone in the success story of our Kübler Group with the foundation of the company in 1960, would celebrate his 100th birthday today.

Only two kilometers away from our current company headquarters, he founded a precision mechanical workshop in his parents' house as a one-man business and developed short-time measuring instruments there. The first electromechanical counters quickly followed, followed by encoders in the 1990s and many other products. Fritz Kübler's firm belief in success, his creative energy and his high level of engineering knowledge laid the foundation for the success of our group of companies. His wife Erika, now 91 years old, was faithfully at his side and always actively supported him. When his sons Gebhard and Lothar Kübler took over the management of the company at the end of the 1990s, Fritz Kübler joined the Advisory Board, of which he was a member until his death in 2003.

From the very beginning, our company founder relied on the highest quality and the inventiveness of his employees. As a result, his small company often outperformed its market competitors. The company grew and prevailed against supposedly superior competitors. This basic idea has been lived by us ever since and is more relevant than ever. "Based on its values of respect, trust and short decision-making paths, we continue to develop our family business today, emphasize Lothar and Gebhard Kübler, and look to the future: independent as a family business, innovative, courageous and in a culture of mutual respect. This is how things should continue to be at the Kübler Group in the future.

In this respect we are very pleased that in terms of innovation we now find ourselves for the fourth time in the ranking of the 100 most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany, carried out by the renowned Wirtschafts-Woche. This time we made it to 48th place.
